About Our Business
About Us

We are:  Robert and Diane Massey.  We've been breeding and training Shepherds for over 35
years !
Our dogs live in the house with us, not in kennels, this helps prepare them for the real world. They
are raised with all the sights and sounds of an average household. Each puppy is held and loved
every day. They learn early how to get along in a family environment and how to get along with
other animals also.

Sensory Stimulation
We use a technique to develop high achievers called "Early Neurological Stimulation"from day 3
today 17 of their life. . This involves handling their paws, putting them in different positions and
exposing them to stimuli to improve performance, health, and intelligence. The U.S. Military does
a similar program that is used as a guide for military dogs. This is based on years of research
from the military called the "Bio Sensor" program. We want to develop the most intelligent dogs that
we can.

Rule of Sevens
We also follow the rule of 7s. By the time a puppy is 7 wks old it will have been on 7 different
surfaces, played with 7 different type of objects, been in 7 different locations, been exposed to 7 challenges,
eaten from 7 different containers, and eaten in 7 different locations and met  and played with 7 new people.
We feel this gives the puppies the best start in life that we can give them.

At 6 weeks of age each puppy will be evaluated for conformation and temperament using
Volhards Puppy Aptitude Test. In addition, evaluations will be done to help identify the main
components of good working temperaments for dogs being selected for work in K-9, Scent
detection, Search, French Ring, Schultzhund, Agility, Obedience and other activities.

Each puppy will have a health certificate from our vet, will have his first set of puppy vaccinations, be
de-wormed and microchipped. We also supply you with the Rolling Oaks Shepherds Health
Guarantee.

We are always happy to talk with you about our dogs and our puppies and
assist in any of your training needs!
